TAX AND ACCOUNTING

Directors : Florence Deboissy, Professeur à l'université de Bordeaux

The Tax and Accounting Law Pole was created at the first half year of 2013. It aims at gathering experts – academics and professionals – in a position to think of the evolutions of the European tax law and answer to the requests for expertise and tenders originating from the European and domestic authorities.

The Pole answered the European Commission's consultation in May 2013 concerning the EU Taxpayer's Code. It now intends to take part into the on-going reflection about the fight against fraud and tax evasion (European Council, May 22nd 2013, conclusion EUCO 75/13). As a long term view, the Tax and Accounting Law Pole wishes to bring its input to the debate on the Council's proposed directive about Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base (CCCTB).

Besides, the members of the Pole interested in accounting law could lead researches in that matter, and more particularly the evolution of the European accounting standards in respect to IFRS.
